These settings can be changed as troubleshooting steps for Five9 not ringing on calls, or if the receiver of your calls is unable to hear you. If the below does not work, please try restarting your computer as well.

If your laptop is on Windows 11:
- Using the search bar at the bottom of your screen, search for “Sound Settings” and Open the option that appears, such as the below.
- Next, Select “More Sound Settings” located at the bottom of the “Advanced” sound tab. You may need to scroll down to see this option.
- In the window that opens, make sure the device you are using is set as the default device. You can right-click that device and click “Set Default”. Afterwards, right-click on the device again and select “Properties”
- Note: if Set Default does not show, and there is a green checkmark by the device, that is your default device

- In the next window that opens, select the “Advanced” tab in the top. You will want to make sure the “Exclusive mode” boxes are not check marked. If you needed to change any settings, click “Apply” at the bottom right then click “Ok”.
- Once this is finished, you will want to repeat this same process under the “Recording” tab as well
