Outlook and Teams will soon no longer work in the "Desktop App" version for your account. In order to prepare for this, we'd like everyone to sign in and start using the "Browser Version" of these applications.

Outlook
- Open Google Chrome and the following web page to access Outlook: https://outlook.office.com/mail/
- Sign in if you are not already.
- If you have any issues getting signed in please feel free to reach out to ITSupport via https://support.seek-now.com/ or emailing ITSupport@seek-now.com
- To confirm notifications are enabled, select the "Site Information" button in the top-left near the URL and then select "Site Settings"
- In the page that opens, Change Notifications from "Ask" to "Allow"
- Once changed, go back to your Outlook tab and "Reload" the page if prompted, or refresh the page if not prompted. Re-select the Site Information button and ensure the Notification Slider is ON

Bookmark Outlook by selecting the star in the top-right of the page, you can rename this to just "Outlook" or to whatever you'd like.
- Right-click Outlook in the bottom taskbar, and select to "Unpin from taskbar". The Outlook app in your taskbar can be closed, and the Chrome window left open. Now when accessing your email, this can be opened by selecting the Outlook bookmark in your Google Chrome.
Teams
- Open Google Chrome and the following web page to access Teams: https://teams.microsoft.com/v2/
- Sign in if you are not already.

- Follow steps 3-5 from above to enable Notifications.
- To disable Teams from opening when your computer turns on, go to Start > search for "Startup Apps" and open the settings page. Find Microsoft Teams and turn the slider to OFF.

- Right-click Teams in the bottom taskbar, and select to "Unpin from taskbar" and then right-click again and "Quit Teams".
The Teams app in your taskbar will be closed, and the Chrome window left open. Now when accessing your Teams, this can be opened by selecting the Teams bookmark in your Google Chrome.
- Go to the Start menu and search for "Startup Apps" > Open the "system settings" tab that appears
- Scroll down to "Microsoft Teams" and turn this slider to "Off" if it is not already turned off
- Scroll down to "Microsoft Teams" and turn this slider to "Off" if it is not already turned off
Additional Apps (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
